Hatha Yoga

Hatha – “ha” means sun, “tha” means moon.  Hatha is the practice of bringing harmony to the two main energies in the human body – the energy of the moon and the energy of the sun. It is a form of yogic exercise that emphasizes specific postures in combination with controlled breathing. Many people will recognize this as the basic yoga where beginners learn basic poses, relaxation techniques and become familiar with yoga.
